Decarbonisation Product Lead

We're building a future where electric haul trucks, green energy systems, and real-time optimisation redefine what's possible in mining.

As the Decarbonisation Product Lead, you'll lead the design and development of pioneering AI-powered tools that enable the shift to net-zero mining. You'll be responsible for developing vision for AI systems and solutions and a value-based roadmap. This includes leading quarterly planning sessions and developing business cases for new AI systems and solutions.

  • Data analysis and user research will play a key role in defining product requirements and features. You'll also be responsible for building, grooming and prioritising the product backlog and developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • You'll define, implement, and track performance metrics once solutions enter production. In collaboration with technical leadership, you'll define the set of necessary competencies and skills required in the delivery team.
  • Drive user adoption and engagement by running demos and showcases to the target users and the broader business.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with 7+ years of experience in either AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines (i.e. mining, blending, supply chain operations) with technical project delivery experience.

  • Cross-functional teams experience and ability to communicate effectively across multiple business areas.
  • Solid business understanding and high-level understanding of product delivery.
  • Experience in modern product development toolkit including agile development and OKR methodologies, lean testing and user research, and product roadmap development & vision creation.
  • Experience in the use of AI solutions & systems to drive improvements to efficiency and productivity in mining or heavy industrial application.
