Transforming Business with Artificial Intelligence is our strategic objective.

This role will be focused on driving the adoption of AI software and systems to deliver this vision. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building relationships with stakeholders and a passion for product management and agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Vision and Roadmap: Develop a clear and compelling vision for AI systems and solutions, and lead the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Business Cases: Create business cases for new AI systems and solutions, including value opportunity sizing, delivery model, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Data Analysis and User Research: Conduct data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features, including clear documentation to enable development.
  • Product Backlog Management: Build, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria to feed into each sprint and accepting sprint results.
  • Performance Metrics: Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solutions enter production, focusing on adoption and impact.
  • Talent Development: Collaborate with technical leadership to define the necessary competencies and skills required in the delivery team.
  • User Adoption: Drive user adoption and engagement by running demos and showcases to target users and the broader organization.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines, with technical project delivery experience.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple business areas, such as operations and technology.
  • Business Understanding: Solid business understanding and high-level knowledge of product delivery.
  • Modern Product Development: Experience with modern product development tools, including agile development methodologies, OKR frameworks, lean testing, and user research.
  • AI Solutions: Familiarity with AI solutions and systems that drive improvements to efficiency and productivity in mining or heavy industrial applications.
