Job Title: Category Specialist

This is a critical role in our organisation where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality category analysis, actionable data insights, and supporting end-to-end tender administration (Source to Contract).

As a Category Specialist, you will drive smarter sourcing decisions, reduce supplier risks, and create value across a diverse supplier base.

  • You will perform detailed spend analysis, market research, and supplier performance reviews.
  • Deliver reports and insights to enhance category strategies and sourcing decisions.
  • Uncover opportunities to drive cost savings and supplier consolidation.

Our ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field, solid experience in procurement, category management, or data analytics.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical skills and Excel/Power BI proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent time management and project coordination experience.
  • Experience with sourcing events and contract administration.
