About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is based at our Head Office store in Rochedale, where we're seeking a motivated and hard-working leader to join our meat department team. As Meat Department Supervisor, you'll be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, and completing stock takes, among other key responsibilities.
You'll work closely with our Store Manager and will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and delegation skills, as well as a passion for customer service and merchandising. If you have an Australian trade qualification in Butchery and are looking for a challenging role that offers opportunities for career growth, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a small team of butchers and ensure seamless daily operations
- Create rosters and schedules to meet business needs
- Generate orders and manage stock levels to minimize waste
- Complete regular stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve profitability
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential)
- Fresh food retail knowledge is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proven track record of leadership and team management
- A flair for merchandising and visual displays
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure

Estimated salary: AU$55,000 - AU$65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
