We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Attorney to join our team at WRP Legal and Advisory.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented attorney to work across a range of industries, including energy, agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.
You will provide legal guidance to commercial clients related to large transactions, business contracts, and agreements, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting and reviewing complex commercial agreements, including sales, purchase, supply, and project agreements.
- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to provide expert guidance to clients on various legal matters.
- Assisting in negotiating and structuring complex commercial transactions.
- Providing authoritative legal advice on corporate governance and compliance.
- Preparing detailed legal opinions and memoranda on legal issues affecting commercial clients.
- Ensuring that clients receive high-quality legal services through collaboration with other practice areas and legal professionals within the firm.
- 4+ years post-admission experience desirable.
- Completion of tertiary education and admission to practice in an Australian jurisdiction.
- Comprehensive legal and commercial knowledge, including contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
- Analytical skills to provide practical solutions for complex legal issues.
- Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain relationships and provide exceptional legal services.
- Excellent drafting, attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including an attractive base salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, plus an initial bonus available for the right individual.
