
Communication Specialist for Individuals with Disabilities

This role involves working with individuals who have communication and swallowing disorders, creating personalized treatment plans and collaborating with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training and supervision to enhance clinical skills, stay updated on best practices, and expand expertise.
- Qualifications: Hold current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and possess a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Autonomy and Communication Skills: Demonstrate ability to work independently, effectively communicate with clients, and collaborate with colleagues.
