
Delivering Exceptional Support to Individuals with Disabilities

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional support to individuals with disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in Townsville.
This role involves providing person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and in the community, helping them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support to NDIS participants
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal prep, cleaning, and budgeting
- Promote social participation and community engagement
- Maintain accurate records and professional boundaries
Qualifications & Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Driver's Licence + reliable, insured vehicle
- Strong spoken English communication skills
- Experience in disability, mental health, or aged care
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour support
