Contractor Management Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Contractor Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing various contracting teams, ensuring compliance with mine site and legal regulations while prioritizing safety and contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

This role requires developing strong partnerships with contractors and mine site representatives to deliver strategic and operational contract outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective contract processes including procurement, provision of work packages, sourcing and tendering and verification of claims and payments.
  • Coordinate and manage contract and cost control activities, planning, scheduling and scoping elements of projects and client needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership, teams and peers to integrate, review and manage the contract portfolio.
  • Pursue continual improvement through monitoring and reviewing the end-to-end contract process.

About You:

We seek a contractor management professional with experience in mine sites, preferably bulk haulage and road maintenance or vehicle maintenance.

Candidates must possess sound ability to collaborate and make quality decisions, coupled with strong attention to detail, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while working to deadlines.

Qualifications in supply chain, contractor management and/or project management are highly valued.
