Job Opportunity: Assembly Electrician for Mining Sites

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to work on site-based projects at our mining assembly division.

Key focus will be to work in a team on new machine site builds, meeting tight deadlines in a safe manner. You will have the opportunity to access OEM training and build a long-term career.

  • Ensure all new machine assembly is completed as scheduled while maintaining the quality of all machines assembled on site.
  • Ensure all onsite builds and commissioning for mining equipment are completed as scheduled while setting and maintaining high standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within your allocated area.
  • Liaise closely with mining assembly supervisor and leading hand to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery targets are achieved.
  • Assist the mining assembly leading hand with other related duties.

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Embody and drive our HCA Safety Culture.
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) electrical trade qualifications.
  • Have previous experience with electrical systems on mining equipment, including assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of Electrical systems, mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • Display a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills to build positive relationships.
  • Possess good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work.
  • Hold certifications in Forklift/ dogging/ Rigging and Working at Heights.

  • Relevant Australian electrical trade qualifications.
