The role of a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in the energy industry by providing guidance on WHS legislation, Australian Standards, directives, processes, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage Enerven's WHS Management System
  • Provide advice on relevant WHS legislation, Australian Standards, directives, processes, procedures, and guidelines
  • Conduct safety & environmental risk assessments
  • Ensure mitigation processes for identified hazards are in place and communicated
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and observations
  • Monitor contractors and adherence to client requirements
  • Facilitate, develop, and provide relevant safety information and communications
  • Conduct incident investigations and undertake WHS reporting and project analysis

This role requires on-site support to our field workers and contractors to effectively manage safety across our operations. Some overtime will be required, as well as regular travel between sites.

About You:

You will be a dynamic, engaging, hands-on professional with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Diploma in WHS or equivalent level of skills and knowledge gained through experience
  • Experience working in the electrical and telecommunications industries is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
