Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary veterinary facility, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional emergency and specialist services.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, with Veterinary Registration in Victoria, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary practice.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time and casual position, offering a combination of hospital shifts and consulting shifts. You will work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

We offer shadowing shifts with experienced ECC vets for those new to ECC, providing a comprehensive onboarding process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, with Veterinary Registration in Victoria

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinarians
