
Chamber Operations Specialist

The Chamber Procedure Officer provides administrative support to the Legislative Council while the House is sitting. This includes preparing documentation, distributing and managing Parliamentary documents, and deputising for the Manager of the Chamber Support Office.
This role requires exceptional organisational and record management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for procedural research.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing documentation required for sittings
- Distributing and managing Parliamentary documents
- Deputising for the Manager, Chamber Support Office as required
- Supporting the Assistant Clerk Procedure with community engagement events, including Youth Parliament
- Excellent administrative and record management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure and confidential environments
