The food technologist specialist plays a crucial role in providing expert technical advice on food technology, packaging, processing, and preservation solutions. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for configuring MULTIVAC equipment, including Thermoforming, Traysealing, Chamber Machines, Slicing, and MUMI systems to meet the needs of clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Configure MULTIVAC equipment, including Thermoforming, Traysealing, Chamber Machines, Slicing, and MUMI systems to meet client requirements.
  2. Manage technical projects from concept to installation, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  3. Support the Sales Team by developing tailored solutions, conducting product trials, and attending customer meetings to build strong relationships.
  4. Prepare and respond to tenders, gathering information, drafting responses, and interpreting requirements to ensure alignment with company goals.
  5. Design equipment and line configurations using CAD and other performance tools to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  6. Conduct machine, packaging, and shelf-life trials to validate applications and recommend improvements to enhance client satisfaction.
  7. Participate in equipment installations and commissioning, planning freight coordination, onsite setup, and collaborating with internal departments and partner agencies to deliver aligned solutions.
  8. Transfer knowledge and best practices across regions to support innovation and continuous improvement, driving excellence in service delivery.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within a technically related role is essential.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously is crucial for success in this position.
  • Must be thorough, accurate & reliable and able to conform to SOPs, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver's license are required for this role.
