Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual with strong knowledge and experience in implementing and managing cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions involving Amazon Web Services. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of cloud-hosted platforms, provide technical advice to other teams, and develop and maintain technical standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-hosted platforms covering AWS Technologies
  • Provide technical advice to other teams within the IT Division and Managed Services Provider(s)
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and procedures for relevant applications
  • Manage own work priorities to achieve individual work accountability and deliverables
  • Contribute towards knowledge transfer of skills and mentor staff
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in implementing and managing cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions involving Amazon Web Services
  • Detailed understanding of Data Loss Prevention, Archiving, eDiscovery, and Compliance aspects at Enterprise
  • Assist and contribute in developing and optimising backup strategy
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with the Microsoft and Unix Infrastructure stack in hybrid cloud environments
  • Proven knowledge and demonstrated experience in automating tasks with code automation
  • Capability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with end users, key stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proven capability to work within tight deadlines and execute with limited information and ambiguity
