Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive innovation in cross-platform communications and content solutions. As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns that enhance our digital footprint and grow new audiences.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic thinker who can drive and implement new approaches to advance Yarra's reputation and ability for Yarra's diverse community to connect with programs and activities through cross-platform marketing and communications campaigns and content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement dynamic, creative, and innovative cross-platform communications and marketing content solutions and campaigns that are engaging and best practice.
  • Be accountable for all content marketing initiatives (including video, animation, email, written) to drive awareness, traffic, engagement, education, and sentiment.
  • Foster compelling storytelling to create dynamic, engaging, accessible, and authentic content across different channels including but not limited to social media, email, website, and print, as well as brand and audience-aligned advertising content.
  • Drive all social media channels, and have oversight of the day-to-day management of key accounts, including providing support and leadership to content contributors.

  • A strong background in digital marketing, with experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
