About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Farm Operations Specialist at our agricultural enterprise in Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of mixed farm operations, comprising approximately 80% cropping and 20% sheep. This will include preparing, sowing, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting, as well as maintaining and repairing equipment, occasional truck driving, animal husbandry, and ongoing maintenance and repairs of farm infrastructure.

About You
  • Proven experience in mixed farming operations and ability to work autonomously;
  • Good attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and cost consciousness;
  • Competency in operating various machinery associated with sowing and harvesting, and experience operating large equipment;
  • Ability to settle independently or with family and genuine interest in securing long-term employment;
  • Good maintenance skills, welding, and fabrication skills are a bonus;
  • Minimum HC licence required, although this may be negotiable depending on additional skills offered;
  • Interest in Agronomy and enthusiasm to improve overall farming operations;
