Overview:

We are seeking a Pool Operations Specialist to join our team at the Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC) and Council's outdoor pools.

Salary:

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per annum, in addition to access to health and wellbeing programs, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for further training and development.

Job Description:

The Pool Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of pool patrons by providing specialist surveillance, advice, supervision, safety, first aid, and rescue services. This will involve supervising the operation of swimming pools, maintaining their cleanliness, and conducting regular professional development sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants should have or be willing to obtain relevant qualifications, such as Lifeguard and First Aid courses, and possess excellent communication skills.
