Job Opportunity:

We seek a seasoned contract administrator with experience in procurement, subcontract documentation, and expenditure tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in material procurement across various projects
  • Draft subcontract documentation and review trade packages scope of work
  • Assess quotes, negotiate, and provide tender price comparisons
  • Manage client and subcontractor RFIs from site
  • Track project expenditure and prepare monthly reports
  • Programme and system management, including reviews for compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and improvements
  • Determine supply costs from new and existing suppliers
  • Data entry and general administration
  • Assist in upskilling Project Managers on commercial aspects of a project

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of Contract Administration experience, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members
  • JOBPAC experience preferred, as well as proficiency across MS Suite
  • Agile thinking and ability to identify opportunities
  • Confidence and demonstrated capability in negotiation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex issues with clarity and ease
  • A meticulous eye for detail and outstanding record keeping skills
