About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join KBR's Government Solutions U.S. division as a Deputy Program Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of the Statement of Work (SOW) within the cost and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of professionals in a 24x7 mission-critical environment, ensuring the continuous availability of critical systems and facilities infrastructure.
- Display strong technical, programmatic, and personal leadership skills, with a focus on strategic oversight, financial stewardship, and holistic integration.
- Manage subcontracts and be responsible for the performance and conduct of subcontractor personnel.
- Strategize and allocate funds for risk mitigation, safeguarding project outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with all customers, and maintain a transparent and proactive dialogue with the Government, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of issues.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and regulatory adherence, enforcing all contractual, regulatory, and compliance mandates in partnership with the contracts team.
- Possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph or Host Nation TS/PV clearance.
- A minimum of 7 years of prior relevant PM and Intelligence Community (IC) experience managing a large (250+ person) multi-disciplinary workforce.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience building and sustaining high-performing integrated teams.
- 5 years of experience working with business strategy.
- 5 years of experience developing project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
- 5 years of experience supporting the Federal and/or Intelligence Community.
- 5 years of experience with long range business plans.
- Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g. LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000).
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics.
- Experience planning and implementing large-scale facility and logistics projects.
- Knowledge of U.S. government exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating and executing support to special events.
- Familiarity with 24/7/365 operational environment.
