Job Title: Manager Head To Health Kids

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as the Manager Head To Health Kids. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal children and their families.

About the Role

The Manager Head To Health Kids will play a crucial role in leading the operations of our new program, which aims to provide evidence-informed assessment and therapeutic services to children under 12 with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioural disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services, building town and remote capacity, and coordinating the team to ensure successful implementation of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operations of the Head To Health Kids program, ensuring efficient and effective services are delivered to children under 12 with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioural disorders.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager to develop and implement program strategies, building town and remote capacity, and coordinating the team to ensure successful implementation of the program.
  • Collaborate with Congress and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the program, including coordinating with other teams and services to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and other service providers.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field, such as mental health, child development, or community health.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and developing program strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
