About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Professional to join our team at Green by Nature. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

As a Garden Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to garden maintenance, including hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching. You will work on various sites within the Oakdale South Industrial Complex, utilizing hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

About You
  • You will have previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field.
  • You will be able to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • You will be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • You will possess a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • You will be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • You will hold a valid Drivers Licence and White Card.
  • You will be committed to ongoing safety training programs and resources.
