Job Title: Maintenance Controller

As a critical role player in fleet maintenance, you will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of all services carried out on managed vehicles and equipment nationally.

  • Approve service requests from suppliers to ensure compliance with manufacturer's requirements.
  • Collaborate with external partners to improve their EVO portal usage and provide support where necessary.

You will work closely with customers to address general maintenance inquiries, providing accurate information while ensuring operational issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all services meet the required quality standards set by manufacturers.
  • Oversee the repair of defective vehicles and equipment in accordance with current CoR and Health and Safety processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance EVO portal usage among external partners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related queries promptly and professionally.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel mechanics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to critically analyze information and solve complex problems.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant qualification in Diesel Mechanics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A requirement for this position is that you must hold a valid heavy vehicle mechanic's license.
