Quay West Suites Melbourne is a 5-star apartment-style hotel located in the heart of Melbourne, overlooking the Yarra River. Our hotel offers a range of luxurious accommodations, including one, two, and three-bedroom suites, perfect for business travelers, families, or romantic getaways.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Meeting and Events Executive to join our team. As a key member of our hotel's operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Meetings and Events department, ensuring seamless execution of events and conferences.
Your primary duties will include:
- Handling administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Meetings and Events department
- Assisting with sales inquiries to maximize revenue opportunities and profitability
- Preparing proposals, contracts, event orders, and other correspondence related to event coordination
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A background in administrative conferencing, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Strong administrative skills, with experience using Opera highly desirable
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
