About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Meeting and Events Executive to join our team at Quay West Suites Melbourne. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Meeting and Events department, ensuring seamless execution of events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the preparation of proposals, contracts, and event orders
- Assist with sales enquiries to maximize revenue opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests
- Collaborate with the hotel's General Manager, Portfolio DOSM, and DOS to achieve departmental goals
- Administrative experience in a conferencing or hospitality background
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience with Opera is highly desirable
