Job Title: Support Specialist for Military Training Exercises

The role of the Unilateral Training Exercise Support Officer is a critical one in facilitating and achieving outcomes while leading a small team. The position involves coordinating planning and support for Singapore unilateral training exercises, maintaining compliance with safety and environmental policies, drafting formal correspondence, and implementing policies for range capabilities, weapons, and munitions requirements.

This includes managing a team of personnel and acting as the coordination lead in the planning and execution of Singapore Armed Forces Unilateral Training Exercises under the Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative Agreement and associated implementing arrangements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating the planning and execution of military training exercises
  • Maintaining adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Developing and disseminating policy documents
  • Implementing policies for operational capabilities and logistics management

A successful applicant must possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
