Job Overview

The Training Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering realistic and adaptable training to exercise participants.

This position involves advising the exercise lead on how to employ field training systems, deploying the system, and identifying key events for After Action Review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering equipment familiarity and functionality training to end users
  • Conducting capability briefs as required
  • Assisting in the preparation, planning, and execution of training serials
  • Executing Weapon Effect Simulation plans
  • Proposing dynamic scenario adaptations during training serials
  • Monitoring progress and providing analysis for After Action Review

About You:

  • Former military officer or non-commissioned officer with operational experience
  • Analytical skills and good oral and written communication
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders and user groups professionally
  • Capacity to work remotely in Army areas for extended periods
  • Autonomy and teamwork skills

Requirements:

  • Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1
  • Ability to obtain an LV2 level clearance
