Portfolio Manager - Commercial Assets

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and results-driven Portfolio Manager to join our organization. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial assets, ensuring that they are performing at their best.

Your primary goal will be to develop sustainable relationships with tenants and owners, conduct regular rent reviews, and attend to any maintenance issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to attract new clients and drive business growth.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will be proactive, professional, and able to resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainable relationships with tenants and owners
  • Conduct rent reviews and negotiate lease agreements
  • Attend to maintenance issues and liaise with tenants and landlords
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new clients
  • Interface with new clients and build strong relationships
  • Develop turnover forecasts, budgets, and financial reports
  • Manage high-risk tenants and tenant arrears
  • General administration duties
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Current Real Estate Agents Representative Certificate or License
    • A working knowledge of the Retail Tenancy Act
    • Exceptional communication skills with a strong client focus
    • A proactive and professional approach with a passion for building tenant relationships
    • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking in high-pressure environments
    • Experience using Cirrus8 software will be highly advantageous
