Compliance Specialist for Energy Transition

To achieve this goal, we require a seasoned Risk & Compliance professional who can support our Trading & Transition (T&T) business unit in developing and improving their control environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in obligation management, risk assessment, process documentation, controls management, and monitoring compliance performance.

This role appeals to individuals with a strong background in Risk & Compliance, preferably within the Australian energy sector or similar highly regulated environments. A degree qualification in Law, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is essential, as well as outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Obligation Owners to understand and manage their obligations, identifying and assessing potential compliance risks, documenting end-to-end processes, and monitoring compliance performance. They will also contribute to the development of business processes and governance requirements.
