As an Energy Transition Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking various tasks to support this goal. Your primary focus will be on installing, investigating, auditing, testing, and rectifying a wide range of metering installations. This critical role supports the metering team and requires a flexible, can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety.

This is an exciting opportunity for technicians based in the Eastern regions of Victoria to join the Mondo Field Metering Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, investigate, audit, test, and rectify LV WC & CT meters, HV meters, and communication devices within the Contestable, Embedded, and Networks domains.
  • Conduct CT and meter testing, fault rectification works, and reporting of non-compliance issues to ensure business targets are met.
  • Prepare or contribute to reports recommending technical improvements or corrective actions to address compliance issues.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of new and existing Safety & Quality Standards, Work Practices, Procedures, and Metering Standards.
  • Attend and actively participate in toolbox meetings to stay updated on new or updated Safety & Quality Standards, Work Practices, Procedures, Metering Standards, or Hazard/Safety Alerts.
  • Conduct field-based technical audits on metering installations to ensure adherence to safety, compliance, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Prioritize works based on criticality, service levels, or customer commitments.
  • Capture and deliver accurate data from the field to the office in a timely manner.

You'll Thrive If:

  • You have a Driver's Licence and A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • You possess relevant VESI training (refresher courses can be provided).
  • You have core competencies and experience in LV WC and CT metering, meter testing, CT testing, and HV experience is highly desirable.
  • You're willing to occasionally travel to rural areas and make overnight stays, with possible interstate travel.
