About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team at the Department for Infrastructure and Transport SA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, planning, developing, managing, and evaluating assigned agency programs, projects, systems, policy development processes, and services that align with the Department's objectives, including the implementation of change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and licensing land and buildings owned by the Commissioner of Highways on commercial terms.
  • Motivating and mentoring staff to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Coordinating resources and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of programs.
  • Managing critical and sensitive information and consultation processes with stakeholders and across government agencies.
  • Providing expert policy advice to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary level qualification in Property, Business, or Commerce is highly desirable.
  • A current drivers' license is essential.
