About This Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned operations expert to lead our retail centre in Canberra. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing day-to-day site operations and maintaining high standards of service and performance.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations or facilities management, with previous experience in shopping centre or retail environments highly regarded.

  • Establish and manage a Planned Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain assets to a high standard of presentation, driving visual appeal and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, risk, and compliance, while effectively coordinating contractor activities and capital works projects.
  • Provide valuable insights to improve maintenance and operational efficiencies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the entire property, including common areas and plant rooms, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing annual operating and capital budgets, supporting and delivering budget targets.
  • Ensure Emergency Evacuation Training and Procedures are compliant and adhered to, prioritizing staff safety.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives, focusing on waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation.
  • Promote collaboration and relationships management with contractors, tenants, and clients, fostering a culture of partnership.
