About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team at Cocoon SDA Care, providing support to individuals with high complex needs in a Supported Disability Accommodation setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality care and support to participants with complex medical needs and manual handling requirements.
  • To work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised plans that promote personal growth and independence.
  • To utilise your skills and experience to enable participants to shape and improve their lives.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker who has:

  • A Certificate III/IV, Diploma or Degree in Individual Support Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
  • A current Driver's License.
  • A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening check.
  • A Working with Children Check.
