Exciting Indigenous Career Opportunities

We are seeking applications from local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to join our team in the Katherine Region. As a participant in our Transition into Work program, you will have the opportunity to build a long-lasting career within Ventia across NT Defence sites.

Ventia's Indigenous Participation team is committed to creating connections and redefining how we connect within the communities we work with across Australia to support employment pathways into Ventia. Our team conducts inductions and training sessions to support local Indigenous Australian Job Seekers to work in various roles on our Defence bases.

The Transition into Work program includes a two-day induction and training session where you will meet key personnel from the Tindal Site and discuss being a deadly resilient worker transitioning into work and addressing mechanisms of support that make you a Deadly Employee in our workforce.

The role involves general hospitality site operations, including front-of-kitchen support and cleaning mess sites. You will also be responsible for general land management activities, maintenance of ground, lawn mowing, care for land and site. Additionally, you will perform general cleaning activities across the base accommodation and offices on the RAAF Base.
