Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our underground team and deliver the systems of work and resources required to meet production objectives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in onboarding and training new employees, manage oversight of the longwall, development and outbye areas, develop and implement operating systems, and manage performance targets and plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A NSW Undermanager Certificate of Competency and Practising Certificate and/or tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field.
  • Solid knowledge of underground mining processes, including practical knowledge of mining equipment.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet production objectives.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
