About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Physiotherapist to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant on the Central Coast.

As an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant, you will assess and implement workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes. You will identify transferable skills and potential through various means, including early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments, and case management services.

You will use your strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees. You will also contact employers to enquire about potential jobs and market the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Average annual salary: $90,000 - $95,000 plus super, travel, and bonuses
  • Assess and implement workplace rehabilitative programs
  • Identify transferable skills and potential through various assessments
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience within employment services (highly regarded)
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management (highly regarded)
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills
  • Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Australian driver's licence and own car
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
