Job Overview
The Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Instruction plays a pivotal leadership role in enhancing literacy and numeracy knowledge and skills across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide impactful professional development opportunities to foster teacher growth and expertise in literacy and numeracy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, teach, and evaluate the effectiveness of evidence-based teaching strategies for improved student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in teaching with a proven ability to initiate improvement in teaching and learning practice.
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare, with the capacity to lead and design high-quality teaching programs.
- Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance within individuals and teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage students, staff, and parents.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position working one day per week (0.2 FTE).
