Job Overview

The Regional Capability Trainer role involves providing comprehensive training solutions to Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprentices and new Technicians.

This includes coaching and developing less experienced technicians and apprentices to independently undertake troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on Cummins products.

The trainer will deliver Diesel Engine Fundamentals and Basic Diagnostic training to all apprentices in the region.

  • Coach and develop technicians and apprentices to independently undertake tasks.
  • Deliver training programs for Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprentices and new Technicians.
  • Maintain a focus on apprentice safety by participating in extended pre-start meetings.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced level knowledge of and experience with Heavy Duty Engine products.
  • Previous experience providing technical advice and coaching to apprentices/technicians (preferred).
  • Possess or be willing to work towards achievement of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Work Environment

Candidates must be based in Melbourne and willing to travel across the region as required.
