Regional Capability Trainer Position

This role involves training technicians and apprentices in Diesel Engine Fundamentals and Basic Diagnostic skills.

The ideal candidate will provide coaching and development opportunities to less experienced technicians, as well as deliver technical training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to junior technicians.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop training strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of training progress and outcomes.

Requirements for Success:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Heavy Duty Engine products.
  • Previous experience in providing technical advice and coaching.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain it.
  • Minimum 4 years post-trade apprenticeship completion preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Based in Melbourne with up to 25% travel required per year.
  • Reports to the Training Manager with a dotted line to the Service Manager.
