About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Myotherapist to join our team. As a part-time therapist working at least 19 hours per week, you will provide holistic care to clients, enhancing their mobility and movement to promote independence and wellbeing.

This role involves collaborating with physiotherapists and massage therapists within a multidisciplinary team.

  • You will assess symptoms and medical history, making diagnoses and developing personalized care plans for individuals.
  • You will manipulate muscles and other soft tissues, promoting relaxation and relief.
  • You will educate and train clients on therapy aspects, empowering them to take control of their health.
  • You will provide goal-setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening, and improving posture.
  • You will refer clients to physiotherapy or exercise physiology treatment when necessary.
  • You will liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored.
  • You will document and report on client conditions and progress.
