Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support participants funded under the NDIS in their homes and community settings. This is a flexible, mobile-based subcontractor position with full administrative support and a focus on client outcomes – not KPIs. You can manage your own schedule and work from home for reporting, planning, and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred occupational therapy services to NDIS participants
  • Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and progress reports
  • Prescribe assistive technology, mobility aids, and minor home modifications
  • Provide therapy to support self-care, learning, mobility, and participation
  • Collaborate with Allied Health Assistants for hands-on support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with NDIS reporting standards
  • Liaise with participants, families, and support coordinators to achieve goals
  • Apply best practices and evidence-based interventions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • ABN and Professional Indemnity/Public Liability insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience (NDIS experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and disability sector
  • Ability to work independently, manage flexible caseloads, and meet reporting deadlines
