Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will utilise your expertise in cardiac ultrasound to diagnose a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating industry-leading cardiac ultrasound equipment to assist in accurate medical diagnoses
  • Prioritising exceptional patient care by explaining procedures clearly and following best-practice testing protocols to document pathology characteristics effectively
  • Collaborating with clinical managers and referrers to maintain strong working relationships
  • Working closely with cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A postgraduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound or a related field
  • A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography
  • Excellent interpersonal & patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approach
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.
  • A current Australian Driver's License and ability to work across several locations in the south east Queensland region.
