The results directly impact patient care.Minimum QualificationsCompletion of an accredited Sonography program OR one year of full-time cardiac echocardiography experience OR completion of an approved Echo Trainee Program OR Summa Sonographer Intern requirements.Registered in the field (RVS, RVT, RDMS, RCS, RDCS).
Basic Life Support certification.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to make independent clinical assessments and judgments.Quickly assess and resolve scanning, technical, and patient care issues professionally.Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals.Provide high-quality echocardiogram examinations routinely.Operate and calibrate equipment; lift and transport patients and equipment.Prioritize work independently and resolve problems effectively.Remain calm and effective in emergencies.Work well as part of a team.Understand and respect patient needs for dignity and self-respect.Physical DemandsHeavy exertion: lifting objects weighing 25-100 pounds, with continuous effort for 10-20 pounds.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledSalary: $34.74/hr - $41.69/hr, based on experience and location.
