Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer/Specialist Cardiac PhysiologistJob Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer/Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to join our team. As a key member of our echocardiography service, you will use your skills and expertise to provide high-quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Based in greater Brisbane, you will be working closely with clinicians and staff to uphold quality standards, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industry-leading cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to assist in accurate medical diagnoses.
  • Prioritise exceptional patient care by explaining procedures clearly and following best-practice testing protocols to document pathology characteristics effectively.
  • Engage with clinical managers and referrers, addressing their needs promptly to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Work closely with cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A postgraduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound.
  • A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography.
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approach.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques.
  • A current Australian Driver's License and ability to work across several locations in the south east Queensland region.
