About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Chermside. This is a part-time position, offering the opportunity to play a vital role in our cardiology practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms
  • Analysing and interpreting cardiac imaging data and providing detailed interim reports to our cardiologists
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice
  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for all patients
  • Collaborating with cardiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care

What we're looking for

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • ASAR Accreditation
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in performing transthoracic and stress echocardiogram
  • Proficiency in using various medical imaging equipment and software including GE & Phillips
  • Able to work weekdays
  • Able to work weekends (Saturday and or Sundays) ***
  • Adhering to all relevant practice protocols, policies and procedures
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic patient care
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
