Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our organisation in a full-time capacity, initially on a 12 month contract with the potential to transition to permanency.

  • Reconcile and analyse accrued rebates with expected payments to ensure accurate recording of liability in financial statements.
  • Process and maintain customer discount and rebate agreements.
  • Monitor trading terms, customer deals and investigate claims to ensure compliance and maintain all records pertaining to price/rebate contracts.
  • Process energy certificate claims and liaise with Government agencies.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining financial processes and enhancing system efficiencies.
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in accounting or a comparable finance discipline is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced capability in Microsoft Office software.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • An eagerness to learn and grow within the organisation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow effectively.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a desire to challenge existing processes and systems.

Candidates with comparable experience within the finance field will be highly regarded. Holders of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualifications or those working towards certification will also be viewed favourably.
