Heavy Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our service and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of heavy diesel equipment.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires advanced level knowledge of engine products and experience in the service and maintenance of heavy or light diesel products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical trades, with qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic.
Key Responsibilities- Engine Repair and Maintenance: Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel equipment, including inspections and replacements of components as required.
- Technical Coaching: Provide technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform complex repairs.
- Documentation: Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
- Education: Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Mechanic (light/heavy/engine recon).
- Experience: Advanced level knowledge of engine products and experience in the service and maintenance of heavy or light diesel products.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and IT capabilities, with the ability to interpret electronic tool results and recommendations to determine next steps for service resolution.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
