Job Summary

The Quality Improvement Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our organisation-wide approach to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). This strategic position involves developing and embedding consistent CQI practices across the organisation.

About the Role

This key leadership role works closely with Service and Enabling networks to establish systems that track, monitor, and report quality improvements through governance channels. Key responsibilities include leading the development, evaluation, and management of CQI systems and processes aligned with the Quality Improvement Strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CQI systems and processes to drive organisational excellence
  • Establish tracking and reporting mechanisms to inform quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Network Directors to set and achieve annual CQI targets
  • Support workforce development to enhance quality improvement capabilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality improvement/management role within a healthcare setting
  • Qualification or certification in improvement methodology (IHI improvement science, lean six sigma etc) or extensive experience using improvement methodologies
  • Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment or experience in delivering training
  • Victorian Driver's Licence and ability to meet pre-employment requirements
