Quality Improvement Specialist

This role is pivotal in driving quality improvement and risk management across our organisation.
You will utilise your industry knowledge and legislation to support employees in managing risks and providing high-quality care. A safe work environment for employees and positive outcomes for residents and clients are key priorities.
The Quality Improvement Specialist will oversee the development and evaluation of quality and risk management systems, focusing on specified service/program areas. Additionally, they will provide support and assistance to other service/program areas as required.
- A Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse or Allied Health Professional with a formalised qualification and/or minimum two years experience in quality/risk management
- Comprehensive understanding of quality and risk management principles, frameworks and methodology
- Knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and evaluating systems, processes, policies and procedures
- Satisfactory completion of a National Police Records Check and Proficiency in Microsoft Software
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Understanding of statutory regulations pertinent to Residential Aged Care Services, Community Aged Care Services and Disability Services
- Knowledge of relevant service/funding streams and skills in project management and evaluation
- Successful completion of the Aged Care Quality Assessor's Course (optional)
