Our business, part of our Strategy and Transactions service line, works with financial services clients across banking and capital markets, insurance, and the wealth and asset management sectors.
We are now looking to strengthen our FS VME practice at the Manager level. To achieve this goal, we are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about advising market leading financial services clients in Banking and Capital Market, Wealth and Asset Management and Insurance.
As a Valuation Manager, you will get the opportunity to work with major corporate and private equity clients, investment banks, funds and government departments providing them with valuation support and advice on a wide variety of transaction and advisory assignments.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze financial and other information in relation to our clients
- Liaise with clients regarding business performance, cash flow forecasts and prospects and understanding key valuation drivers
- Use current technology and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
- Lead teams of valuation and modelling professionals to deliver high quality advice to EY's clients
- Manage assignments/engagements by ensuring that EY's services are client focused, clear, accurate and well presented in a timely manner as agreed with the client and team.
- Actively keep abreast of current and emerging developments and service offerings
- Provide guidance and expertise to team members and clients on technical issues/practices
- Provide leadership and helping further develop the VME team within the market for valuations services
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Interest and aptitude in advising market leading financial services clients in Banking and Capital Market, Wealth and Asset Management and Insurance
- Prior valuation experiences in valuation firms, equity research, investment banking or corporate finance environment is highly desirable.
- Strong numerical and analytic skills including intermediate to advanced level of MS Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Superior project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines on multiple client engagements.
- Strong excel, financial modelling, communication and report writing skills
- Demonstration of interpersonal and client relationship skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships
- An ability to manage multiple commitments and stakeholders
- Progress towards/completion of CA and/or CFA qualifications or an equivalent post graduate qualification would be advantageous
