Seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the administration of construction contracts and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in contract administration, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of legal terminology.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Administering construction contracts through specialized software systems
  • Managing monthly financial reports and cash flow statements
  • Assessing and managing contract variations and claims from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Reviewing and processing payment schedules and invoices
  • Coordinating purchase orders and delivery dockets
  • Preparing and submitting regular progress reports and cost forecasts
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator with a head contractor or construction company
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, risk management, and project management principles
  • Ability to write comprehensive scope of work documents and develop effective contract management strategies
  • Proven ability to reduce costs, increase profitability, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
